Princeton Carbonworks : Uncompromisingly Fast Carbon Bicycle Wheels

Princeton CarbonWorks are a young US based Carbon Wheel brand hailing from - yes - Princeton. They are a group of elite rowers turned cyclists and triathletes, hell bent on creating the most groundbreaking wheels imaginable.

Founded by Marty Crotty, along with Harrison Macris and Brad Werntz, over the past 4 years they have been relentlessly persuing a vision to create uncompromising wheels which has guided the development of Princeton CarbonWorks.

In a partnership that began 15 months prior to their debut - on the Time Trail bike of the astonishing talent that is Filippo Ganna at the Italian Time Trial championships - Princeton CarbonWorks have been working closely with Team INEOS Grenadiers. No strangers to striving for every advantage in their quest for glory, INEOS chose to work with Princeton CarbonWorks having seen their stringent Wind Tunnel testing data and their use by the team - including Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome - was evident from the Tirenno Adriatico all the way to the Vuelta in a bizarre 2020 season. Simply put, PCW wheels are the fastest on the market today.

Currently - and indeed mercifully - their range is a concise one. Their road wheels feature a sinusoidal (wave like) shape - not dissimilar to Zipp's NSW profile - that offer structural as well as aerodynamic benefits, and are available as the WAKE at 60/65mm depth and the GRIT at 40/45mm depth. Their other wheel is an extremely limited production rear Disc wheel for time trial, the BLUR 633.

Princeton CarbonWorks wheels deliver uncompromised performance in all conditions. Industry leading aerodynamics do not come at the expense of weight, crosswind stability and other riding characteristics and the company, while still young, continue to work to put the fastest products under the fastest athletes in the world.
