Kask

Born in 2004, KASK is a relatively young company, but thanks to a talented team of expert engineers, the company has gone through a tremendous evolution marked by success all along the way. Developed with, and worn by Team Sky, Kask offer a range of helmets to suit all riders.

KASK’s mission is to maintain a perfect balance between technological excellence, functionality, safety, and attractive design in their products. Made in their own facility in Italy, Kask are able to continuously develop and refine their products to offer you the fineset cycling in protection. Now one of the leading brands in the sport, KASK is committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety in order to ensure the highest quality and offer the best protective helmets for the most demanding customers.

Much of their rapidly acquired success has been a result of the collaboration with Team Sky. As any member of the Kask team will tell you, Team Sky are an exceptionally demanding client. Married to Kask's focus on quality, the partnership has driven technological and design boundaries forward while yielding performance gains all the way. The rapid adaptation of Kask to the ever changing demands of Team Sky has been facilitated by the company's proud desire to be 100% Made in Italy;  a facet of development that allows the company to refine design swiftly, while maintaining extremely high build quality and consistency.

In 2011 when we opened our doors, we stocked 4 helmet brands. It quickly became apparent that Kask was the helmet of choice for most of our customers. The innovative Up-Down fitting system delivered huge amounts more comfort than any competing helmet retention system and invariably, customers who tried on a Kask, bought one. We now sell Kask exclusively in the helmet arena.

Kask's unparalleled comfort is a signature of the brand and is evident even in the most rigorous circumstances. Their integrated structure was developed in-house, and combines the greatest level of protection with the lightest possible mass of the helmet to ensure comfort and safety for the wearer.

KASK quality is a guarantee. All KASK products undergo the most rigorous safety and quality tests as part of KASK’s CSD Project – ComfortSafetyDesign - and all of their exclusive designs and product features implemented in the helmet collections are proprietary and protected by numerous patents.

As a consumer you can buy confidently knowing that KASK does not compromise when it comes to quality and safety. Developed with a clear remit that safety is paramount and will never be compromised in the quest for lower weight or aesthetics, Kask's products offer riders peace-of-mind that comes from innovation and collaboration - not just in the cycling market but in Equestrian, Snow-sports, Mountaineering and Mountain Rescue.

100% Made in Italy - they deliver unrivalled performance, design, comfort and protection; driven by genuine passion.

We are often asked why Kask do not employ MIPS. Since their inception, KASK have employed their own WG11 testing protocol. WG11 is a rigorous protocol for helmet testing specifically targeted at measuring the impact of rotational forces on a headform during a crash. WG11 impact conditions are based on real accident data. This approach yields properly informative data that guides construction.

Most of the tests on helmets that use rotational impact prevention technologies (like MIPS) are carried out using headforms whose coefficient of friction is much higher than those of a human skull and therefore do not reflect reality. KASK's own WG11 protocol yields more accurate data that informs construction and guarantees that you are better protected.
