Having previously supplied their exquisite tubesets to the likes of Alchemy, FiftyOne and other artisan frame builders, Enve's move to manufacture their own frames comes as no surprise - though it is more than welcome!

While we may not have seen much of it here in the UK, the Enve 'Custom Road' is a masterpiece. The company's meticulous approach is firmly directed towards custom creations and lend the bike a huge specificity and tailored fit for race-focused riders.

As typified by their un-drilled wheel rims, Enve play to the strengths of carbon, running continuous fibres throughout their components, removing excess laminate and material to save weight while never compromising on strength. Additional fibres are overlaid and oriented to deliver zone-specific performance requirements from compliance to durability.

The Melee takes design cues from Enve's 'Custom Road'

The most customisable non-custom frame-kit available. The Melee takes design cues from Enve's 'Custom Road', but prioritises efficiency and speed over pure customisation. With geometry and handling characteristics optimised for 27 to 32 mm tyres, the Melee is a modern road race bike engineered to provide the performance competitive riders demand. The Melee performs in all the areas that count - efficient power transmission, weight, aerodynamics and versatility. To achieve the versatility today's road racers require, the Melee provides riders with up to 35 mm of tyre clearance.

Building on ENVE's foundation of Real-World Fast aero technologies, the Melee has been designed to complement the SES wheel line and to deliver aero efficiency that places it amongst the fastest bikes on the road. Tailoring tube shapes to complement SES rim shapes allows the Melee to efficiently pair with any ENVE SES or Foundation wheelset. Features such as the Integrated Front-End ensures the Melee is aerodynamically optimised as hoses are routed internally to be out of sight and out of the wind.

With 7 sizes and numerous In-Route compatible handlebar, stem and seatpost options to deliver your optimal fit, it is available in 3 colours at launch - Ash, Salt and Venom.

The MOG checks all the boxes for what a modern gravel bike should be. Versatility through design with an abundance of tyre clearance, up to 700c x 50mm, in addition to in-frame storage with the Cargo Bay's use of the down tube's open space. Rack mounts on the fork provide additional options for weekend bike-packing getaways while not hindering the MOG's performance in any way.

Like the Melee road bike, the MOG is available as a “Chassis Only” which includes the frame, fork, headset, handlebar, stem, and seatpost. Here at 700 we will help you select the bar, stem and seatpost à la carte to ensure that you get the exact fit and specification you need for your riding, from the start.

The MOG can be built with four handlebar options that include the Gravel Bar, SES AR Bar, Compact Road Bar, and SES Aero Bar. Additionally, the choice of a dropper seatpost or fixed seatpost ensures you build the MOG best suited to your riding needs. Select your choice of ENVE wheels and drivetrain components for the complete build and the MOG will serve you from Gravel racing to multi-day adventures.
