3T's Head of Design at the time, Gerard Vroomen, brought his love of aerodynamics to bear on the Strada - but not just theoretical aero, real-world aerodynamics. 3T test at 20mph (32kmh) and 30mph (48kmh), they test with bottles and other “difficult parts”, they sometimes even test dirty and muddy bikes. But while the aero details of the Strada range stand out, Vroomen is most proud that the Strada began the trend towards more tyre clearance on aero bikes, to deliver both comfort & speed.
