Pirelli : Road Cycling Tyres | 700, Windsor

Established in 1872, Pirelli is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers.
 
Pirelli are most famous for their Formula 1 association and broad range of 'approved' motor vehicle tyres : more than 1900 models tested and that guarantee perfect road handling.
 
However, they are not new to the cycling market. In 1980, Pirelli purchased Clement tyres, one of the most successful tyre brands with regards to pro level wins, and moved their production to Thailand where it remained until Pirelli left the cycling market back in 1995.
Now back in the market, Pirelli have a small but developing range of road cycling tyres that they produce in a French facility (the same factory in which Hutchinson tyres are also produced) to their own specifications and using their proprietary SmartNET Silica compound that is produced in and shipped from, Romania.
 
Drawing on their many years of tyre production and more recent Formula 1 partnership, Pirelli aim to offer riders market leading grip, durability and comfort at competitive prices.
